Remaining = 40,000 - 15,000 = Rs 25,000

1/5 of remaining on LIC Premium

So 1/5 x 25,000 = Rs 5,000

Remaining = 25,000 - 5,000 = Rs 20,000

1/2 on remaining expenses

1/2 x 20,000 = Rs10,000

Total amount remaining with him is Rs 20,000 - 10,000 = Rs10,000
