Average speed of train = 60km/hr
Let t be the time taken by train.
Man covers 6km
total time=3 hrs
Average speed
= TOTAL Distance/ total time
Total distance= Average speed X time
6+60×t = 32x3
60t = 96-6
60t= 90
t = 90/60
=1.5 hour.
Walking speed of man= Distance/ time
Time taken by man is also 1.5 hr as total time is 3hr.
So ,
Average Walking speed of man=6/1.5
=60/15
=4km/hr
Therefore Average speed of walking is 4km/hr
