Answer: Rupees 8,500

Step-by-step explanation:

60 litres + 40 litres = 100 litres

So, Rameshbhai has filled his truck diesel with a total of 100 litres (including both the days)

Since each and every liter of petrol costs rupees 85 and Rameshbhai has filled his truck with 100 litres, we have to multiply 85 times 100

85 x 100 = 8,500

And this is equal to rupees 8,500

Therefore, Rameshbhai spent rupees 8,500 in all on diesel.

Hope it's clear

Given : Rameshbai filled his truck diesel trunck with 60 litres of diesel on Monday and 40 litres of diesel on Tuesday

the diesel costs $85 per litre,

To Find :  How much did he spend in all on diesel

Solution:

cost per liter =  85

Filled on Monday  = 60 litres

Cost on Monday = 85 * 60

Filled on Tuesday  =40 litres

Cost on Tuesday = 85 * 40

Total cost =  85 * 60 +  85 * 40

= 85 ( 60 + 40)

= 85 (100)

= 8500
