Ramu has a paddy field which is in the shape of rectangle.It has a length of 15m and breadth of 8m. If he has ploughed an area of 90 sq.m of the field,how much more area is to be ploughed.


Sansi: Please give me Answer.
npr: area=lengthxbreath ie 15 x 8 = 120 sq.m.90sq.m has been ploughed and 30 sq.m is to be ploughed.

Area of the rectangle = Length x breath 
                               = 15 m x 8m = 120 sq.m
out of 120 sq.m,90 sqm has been ploughed,120 - 90 = 30 sqm.
30 sq.m needs to be ploughed
