Range of a clinical thermometer is 94°F to 108°F. It's range in Celsius scale is 34.4 ° C to 42.2°C.

• We use the formula :

C = 5/9 ×( F - 32).

• C is the required degree to be found out on the celcius scale. F is the given range in Fahrenheit.

• Taking the first value 94° F and converting it into celcius by using the above formula we get

C= 5/9× ( 94-32)

= 34.4 ° C

• Taking the second value 108° F and converting it into celcius by using the above formula we get

C= 5/9× ( 108-32)

= 42.2 ° C.

Hence, It's range in Celsius scale is 34.4 ° C to 42.2°C.
