Queen chennamma, who was also known as Queen Kittur chennamma was the ruler and a princess of the state of Karnataka.
- Queen Chennamma (14 November 1778-21 February 1829). She was the first woman in history who fought against the British and was popular in 1824, rebelling in opposition to the East India company.
- Queen Chennamma was good at sword fighting, horse riding, and archery. She got married when she was very young, to King Mallasarja, who belonged to a Desai family and when her husband died, she took all the responsibilities of the kingdom.
