Given : The window is in the shape of a rectangle whose width and height are in the ratio 2:3 . The area of the window is 9600 sq.cm

To Find :   perimeter of window

Solution:

shape of a rectangle whose width and height are in the ratio 2:3 .

width = 2x

Height = 3x

Area = width * height

= 2x * 3x

= 6x²

6x²  = 9600

=> x² = 1600

=> x = 40

Perimeter = 2(2x + 3x)

= 10x

= 10 (40)

= 400 cm

perimeter of window is 400 cm
