(d) It is not possible for Rani to make a prime number

Step-by-step explanation:

Given numbers are 1, 2 and 6

Let us first understand what a prime number is :

=> A prime number is a number which has only two factors and they are 1 and the number itself OR a number which can only be divided by 1 and the number itself.

=> Here the given numbers are 1, 2 and 6, adding them we get 9 and 9 is divisible by 3.

∴ Any number made from the given digits will have a sum of 9 and hence will be divided by 3. So the number cannot be a prime number as it has more than two factors.

=> So any number made from 1, 2 and 6 will not be a prime number because it will not meet the conditions of a prime number.
