Rate of evaporation of an aqueous solution decreases with increase in humidity. Why?

HEYA.

AS WE ALL KNOW THAT EVAPORATION IS THE PROCESS IN WHICH THE AQUES SOLUTION GETS CONVERTED INTO

VAPOUR AT ANY TEMPERATURE BELOW THE BOLING POINT ND THERE ARE MAY FACTORS INFLUENCING THE RATE OF
EVAPORATION-

1] SURFACE AREA
2] HUMIDITY
3]WIND SPEED
4] TEMPERATURE

NOW IF THE HUMIDITY WILL INCREASE THE RATE OF EVAPORATION WILL BECOME SLOW AS THERE WILL BE LESS HEAT ENERGY IN THE ENVIRONMENT DUE TO HUMIDITY.

HOPE HELPED.
RATE OF EVAPORATION DECREASES WITH INCREASE INHUMIDITY.

Hey dear !

As we know that aqueous solution is liquid in state.
And we know that rate of evaporation gets affected with temperature.
Rate of evaporation is inversely proportional to humidity.
As the moisture content increases in the atmosphere.

Hope this helps you dear ✌
