let A's present age be x
after 6 years
A's age = x + 6
26 = x +6
x = 20
let B's age = y
x:y : : 4:3
20:y : : 4:3
y = 20Ć3\4 ( product of means = product of extremes)
y = 15
Hence ,
B is 15 years old
