Ratio means a common factor among each of them is there. Let us suppose the common factor is x

So, B has 2x amount, C has 4x and D has 3x.

C has 1000 more than D

i.e. 4x=1000+3x

4x−3x=1000

x=1000

Therefore, B has 2x=2000

Similarly,

A has 5x=5000

C has 4x=4000

D has 3x=3000
