let the chandrika age be 4x
and gomati age be 5x
(As the ratio of their ages are 4:5 )
By th problem
After 4 years Sum of their ages will be 80
4x + 4 + 5x + 4 = 80
9x + 8 = 80
9x = 80 - 8
( after going other side + will become - )
9x = 72
x = 72÷ 9
x = 8
Therefore 4x = 4 × 8 = 32
5x = 5 × 8 = 40
and gomati age be 5x
(As the ratio of their ages are 4:5 )
