Given :  Ratio of ram's age 3 years ago to Shyam's age 4 years hence is 4:7. After 11 years, the difference between their age will be 8 years.

Kushal is 4 years younger to Shyam

To find :  What will be the average age of Ram and Kushal after 17 years

Solution:

After 11 years, the difference between their age will be 8 years.

Ram current age = x

Shayam current  age = y

(x - 3) : ( y + 4) = 4 : 7

=> 7x - 21 = 4y + 16

=> 7x  = 4y + 37

difference between their age will be 8 years.  ( that remains always constant )

x = y + 8   or  y = x + 8

7x  = 4y + 37

x = y + 8

=>  y will be - ve  so not possible

7x  = 4y + 37

y = x + 8

x = 23 ,   y  = 31

Ram current age = 23

Shayam current  age = 31

Kushal is 4 years younger to Shyam

=> kushal age  = 31 - 4  = 27

Average age of Ram and Kushal =   (23 + 27)/2  =  25

Average age of Ram and Kushal after 17 years, = 25 + 17 = 42

Hence Average age of Ram and Kushal after 17 years = 42
