let the no. is = x

7x : 9x & sum = 640

A.T.Q. => 7x + 9x = 640

=> 16x = 640

=> x = 640/16

=> x= 40

So, 7x= 7*40. = 280 &

9x= 9*40. = 360.

Check 280+ 360

= 640 Ans.
