OK let's get straight to the point....

Rationalising factor of 3 +√2 is 3 - √2......

Now, 1 × (3 - √2)/ (3 + √2) × (3 - √2)

Hence your answer is... 3 - √2/ (3)² - (√2)²

SD (a+b)(a-b) = a² - b²

Hence the answer is 3 - √2 / 7
