 \frac{1}{2 + \sqrt{3} } \\ \\ on \: rationalising \\ \\ = \frac{1}{2 + \sqrt{3} } \times \frac{2 - \sqrt{3} }{2 - \sqrt{3} } \\ \\ = \frac{2 - \sqrt{3} }{ {2}^{2} - { \sqrt{3} }^{2} } \\ \\ = \frac{2 - \sqrt{3} }{4 - 3} \\ \\ \\ = 2 - \sqrt{3}
