Solution




1 /2 +√3



= 1 / 2+√3 * 2-√3 / 2-√3


= 2-√3 / (2)^2 - ( √3)^2






in this we use identity ( a+b ) (a-b) = a^2 -b^2



2- √3 / 4- 3


= 2-√3 /1.



hence answer is 2-√3
