To rationalise, multiply and divide the fraction with with √3 + √5.

= 5(√3+√5) / (√3-√5)(√3+√5)

(Remember (a-b)(a+b) = a²- b²

= 5(√3+√5) / (√3² - √5²)

= 5(√3+√5) / (9 - 25)

= 5√3 + 5√5 / -16

The denominator is rationalised.
