a)5/√3-√5

multiply the numerator and the denominator by √3+√5 we get

5√3+5√5/3-5= -5√3+5√5/2

b)2/7+4√3

multiply the numerator and the denominator by 7-4√3 we get

14-8√3/49-16*3= 14-8√3/1
