rato of area of two traingles with equal heights is 2:3 if base of smaller triangle is 6cm then what is the corresponding base of the bigger triangle ?

Rato of area of two traingles with equal heights is 2:3

base of smaller triangle is 6cm

let the  other base be x

ratio of bases = ratio of areas 

=>lets form an equtaion

=> 6 is the smaller base . so it should pair with 2

=>$\frac{6}{x} = \frac{2}{3}$

=>2*x = 6*3

=>2x = 18

=>x =  9

the other bigger base is 9 cm
