Ravi applied a force of 10 N and moved a book 30 cm in the direction of the force

work done = Force × displacement

Force = 10N

Displacement = 30 cm

1m = 100 cm

30cm = 0.3 m

work done by ravi = 10 N × 0.3m

= 3Nm

Nm = NewtonMeter = Joule = J

work done = 3J

so work done by ravi = 3J
