Step-by-step explanation:

p=25000

r=15%pa

t=2yrs

S.I

p \times r \times t  \div 100

25000 \times15 \times 2 \div 100 \\ans \: is \: 75000

C.I

25000(1 + 15 \div 100)^{2}  \\ the \: ans \: is \: 38021.875

Given:-

  • Principal (P) = 25000
  • Rate interest (R) = 15%
  • Time (t) = 2 years

Find:-

Money gained by Ravi during a transaction.

Solution:-

Interest that Ravi has to pay :

\sf{Simple\: Interest\: = \:\dfrac{P\:\times\:R\:\times\:T}{100}}

\implies\:\sf{\dfrac{25000\:\times\:15\:\times\:2}{100}}

\implies\:\sf{7500}

Interest that Ravi receive :

\sf{Amount\:=\:P\bigg(1  +  \dfrac{R}{100}\bigg)^{t}}

\implies\:\sf{A\:=\:25000\bigg(1+\dfrac{15}{100}\bigg)^{2}}

\implies\:\sf{A\:=\:25000\bigg(\dfrac{115}{100}\bigg)^{2}}

\implies\:\sf{A\:=\:25000(1.15)^2}

\implies\:\sf{A\:=\:25000(1.3225)}

\implies\:\sf{A\:=\:33062.5}

Interest that Ravi receive from Shishir = Amount - Principal

= 33062.5 - 25000

= 8062.5

Gain = 8062.5 - 7500

= 562.5

•°• Ravi gains Rs. 562.5 in this transaction.
