Answer:

Therefore, after the rebate, the bicycle's price = 90% of the original price = 0.9*12500 = 11250 Rs. Afterwards, 6% taxes are added. Therefore, the final price he has to pay = 675 + 11250 = 11925 Rs.

Answer :

Amount paid by Ravi = Rs. 11925

Explanation :

According to the question :

Marked price of the bicycle = Rs. 12500

❄ Rebate / Discount :

□ 10 % of Rs. 12500

=> 10 / 100 × 12500

=> Rs. 1250

❄ Cost price after discount :

□ Marked price - Discount

=> Rs. 12500 - 1250

=> Rs. 11250

Tax :

□ 6 % of Rs. 11250

=> 6 / 100 × 11250

=> Rs. 675

Amount paid :

=> Cost price + Tax

=> Rs. 11250 + 675

=> Rs. 11925
