and, the age of Ravi be y

then, A/Q

x = 20+Y

x-y= 20 .....1

two years later

the age of Rajesh be (x+2)

the age of Ravi be (y+2)

then A/Q

X+2=2(y+2)

X+2=2y+4

X-2y=4-2

X-2y= 2 .....2

by elimination method

X-Y=20 ....1

X-2Y=2 ....2

multiply by 1 in both equaction we get:

y = 18

then, put the value of y in equation 1. we get:

x-y=20

X-18=20

x=20-18

x=2

so,the present age of Ramesh is (x)=2

And,the present age of Ravi is (y)=18
