Ravi is a salesperson and earns a fixed salary per month plus a commission on his monthly sales. Ravi’s monthly earnings is given by the equation = 10,000 + 0.05. Ravi gets a hike of 10% on his fixed salary and wil now be earning ₹140 on every 2000 rupees worth of sales. Write a linear equation in two variable which shows Ravi’s monthly earnings after the hike?​

Income from commission=2500−1500

=1000

Given 5% of total sale equals commission he gets

⇒5% of Total sales=1000
