The reasons for the weeds were not affected is due to some category of weeds were poisonous and if biotic interference is there the destructors which will feed on them they will die.

Some of the weed's leaves have a bad odor to prevent the destroyer to attack it.

This property keeps the destruction away.

Some weeds have thorns on leave surface which make uncomfortable for the destructors who try to attack and feed on them.
