Raziyya sultan was unique in history of the delhi sultanate because she is the first woman to become the ruler of the sultanate. She was more able and qualified than all her brothers.
Yes,i think women leaders are accepted more readily today because of democracy. now, the world has become an open minded in the terms of gender equality and would never mind in having woman as their leaders. Many woman in this period proved that a woman too can be at the top of leaders.
Moreover, people widely supported the woman as their leader.

Raziyya sultan is a really great inspiration for all the present women at today's world but unfortunately some people are against it some men just don't let the baby girl be born for just they think girls can't do anything but even in this condition there are some people who respect women and try their best to give their rights only because of these such people we have great leaders like Sonia Gandhi in India , mother teresa , kalpana Chawla , Sania Mirza ,Sania nehwal and even PV Sindhu .
what I have mentioned are from INDIA but there are even great athletes , police officers , business women , pilots and etc .
there fore I conclude my answer saying that in this generation there is respect being given to women and leaders like Sonia Gandhi are being accepted these days.
I wish my answer helps you.
