RBI issues every currency except 1 rupee note. Why??

Because RBi can not have power to issue 1 rupee note or coin.RBi issue more than 1 rupee currency .SBI issue this 1 rupee .

Reasons:

RBI as per section 24 of the RBI Act, 1934, is not empowered to issue bank note of denomination one rupee.
