Claw-foot is a dragon. She lives a solitary life in a cave high up in the
mountains, above the clouds.
Claw-foot has a fat round body. She has a long thin neck. Her head is a
rectangular shape. She has a big mouth that she opens wide and she has
long, gleaming, white teeth. At night she makes strange piercing noises
and sometimes she grunts loudly when she is asleep.
Her two round eyes sit neatly on the top of her head. They sparkle red
at night. She has very tiny ears and her hearing is poor, so she uses her
large square nostrils very efficiently to smell for food. Claw-foot has
four legs which are short and plump and at the end of each foot she has
three sharp claws. When she catches her prey she uses these claws to
hold the animal while she munches noisily, crushing the bones as she
chews contentedly.
Her body is covered in oval-shaped scales that are blue and green and
she has two triangular wings on her back. Her wings have no feathers but
they are covered with yellow scales. She flies peacefully through the
clouds every day looking for her daily meal.
When she is on land she moves slowly and awkwardly and her long tail is a
nuisance. She breathes out black smoke and yellow flames to keep​
