A horticulturist used stem cuttings of plant X to propagate it in a short span of

time.

Plant Y, has lost the capacity to produce seeds. For plant Y, a horticulturist pulled

a branch towards the ground and covered it with soil leaving the tip of the branch

exposed. She later on cut the branch from the parent plant. The former developed

into a new plant.

She cut some pieces of stem that contained at least one leaf of plant Z and

dipped one end of each piece in water to propagate it.
