Read the following passage and answer the given questions that follow: One bright June morning when I was nineteen, I packed all I had on to my back, but my native village, and walked up to London looking for gold and glory. That was more than fifteen years ago, and I have been here ever since. I shall probably stay here for the rest of my life. ans1) the writer went to London in search of gold and glory and it has been a long time since he has gone there.

ans2) he does not go to the village back as he decides to probably stay there for rest of his life.

ans3) Here the human filling cabinets are the house standing in rows..

he doesn't mention them as houses as it has been a long time since he has not came here.

ans4) the passage is about a boy visiting London after 15 years as he stayed in a village and after seeing the atmosphere there he feels some difference and decides to stay there for the rest of his life.
