Read the following passage carefully.
People notice you wherever you are, whatever you are doing, whether you are
on a bus or a train or whether you are at the movie or in a store. Naturally, you
want people to like what they notice about you. Sometimes it is hand to know
what to say or what to do. Then you are embarrassed. If you know what to do.
you wouldn't feel embarrassed, or at least. You would get over your
embarrassment very quickly and have a good time. Good manners help out in
these situation. Manner are actually rules telling you how to be your best selt.
But now what are good manners besides rules telling you what to say.
how to dress, and how to act on different occasions ? Knowing these things is
important, of course. But why do some people who have never had the
advantage of education or social training still impress you as being people worth
knowing ? The answer seems to be that they have the sincerity and thought
fullness for other people which are really the basis of all good manners. A
considerate man does not need a book to teach him about good manners. But
people who are always thinking about themselves often display bad manners.
Good manners on the other hand, come easily when you forget yourself and
think sincerely of the welfare of the other person.
On the basis of your reading of the passage answer the questions that follow :

1. What would help us avoid embarrassment in public?
2. Define manners
3. What are the important aspects of good manners ?
4. How do some uneducated people have good manners?
5. Do you agree that all educated people have good manners? And is
not then why?
