6) let the number be x
    ATQ
    2x + 1 = 85

7) let total money = x
    money he gives to his daughter = 1/3 of total money = 1x /3
    money he gives to his wife = 1/4 of total money = 1x /4
    money left = 10,00,000
    A.T.Q.
    1x/3 + 1x/4 + 10,00,000 = x
     \frac{4x+3x}{12} + 1000000 = x
     \frac{7x}{12} + 1000000 =x
    x +  \frac{7x}{12} = 10,00,000
     \frac{19x}{12} = 10,00,000
    x =  \frac{1,20,00,000}{19}
    x = 631579
