(a) The practice of untouchability in the village of Ramesh.

  • Article 17 which states the abolition of untouchability in any form.
  • However, in this situation, untouchability is practiced in the village of Ramesh which violates the right and such practice in any form is punishable under law.

(b) Chotu, aged 10 years, is working in a hotel.

  • In this situation, Chotu who is 10 years of age is a minor and is not allowed to work at the hotel as child labor in violation of the fundamental right to education under Article 21A.
  • If a person works then he will not get time to study which will leave him illiterate.
  • However, Article 21A guarantees the right to free education to every person in the age group of 6 to 14.

(c) Dinesh was arrested and was not allowed to take service of an advocate.

  • In this situation, Dinesh is not allowed to seek legal aid from his advocate and he was arrested so his fundamental right under article 23 is violated.
  • This is because he is arrested under punitive detention and protection against the conviction of offense is violated for Dinesh.
