1. My name is Hamdiye Celik. I’m 13 years old. I live in the town of Dargecit in the southeastern part of
Turkey. I have black hair and dark skin I am very thoughtful and honest. I respect my elders and love
youngsters. I like reading poetry and playing volleyball.
During the week, I go to school in the mornings. When I return home at noon, I help my family with
housework first. Then I take lunch. I live with my two sisters and my mother. We all help one another.
After the household work, I do my homework, read and play. My father died years ago, so we live on a
very limited income. But I have no complaints.
My mother is a hardworking, helpful and honest woman. She is my role model. I am very happy to have
such a family.
