# Read the passage carefully and answer the following questions:
One beautiful spring day two men strolled into the public square of a Chinese city. At last, a
bystander asked them who they were. “We are jugglers from a distant province," said the
elder. Soon it was spread about among the crowd that two famous jugglers had just arrived.
The mayor was wondering what he should do to amuse his friends, when a servant told him
of the jugglers. "Now we may have a little fun," mayor said to his guests. The two strangers
entertained the people with spinning plates in the air and tossing bowls up as playing with
little marbles . At last, the mayor cried out: "These tricks are very good of their kind, but….”
“Sir, anything that you demand I can do for you.”Our feast was short of fruit, since this is the
off season. Produce us a peach." Mayor said. "What, master, a peach?" exclaimed the elder
juggler. “Very well, masters, if it's a peach you want, a peach you shall have." "Wonderful!"
shouted the people. "The peach will soon be here.” There in the magician's fingers was a
peach. The official took the peach and cut it open. It was as sweets as honey and large
enough for all his guests to have a taste, and such a taste it was!
