Read the passage given below and answer the questions that follow:
Socrates, the great Greek philosopher, believed that an angry man was like a beast. He
always tried to control his temper. But his wife was a short tempered woman who always
lost her temper every now and then. One day, she was very angry with Socrates and insulted
the calm philosopher by calling him names. But Socrates said nothing. He left her alone and
sat on the door step of his house. People heard the shouts of the angry woman and gathered
in the street in front of his house. Silence and cool of Socrates in the presence of the crowd
made the woman angrier. She went up to him with a pot full of water and emptied it all over
him. The scene amused the on lookers. Socrates just smiled and said, "There is always a
shower after a thunder."
