Through my window,an alien drops in
His single antenna buzzing,sharp as a pin,
Vibrations humming and lights beaming at me
I wake up,startled,rubbing eyes to see.

He speaks not a word - I cannot see his mouth
Gestures at his antenna, 'Come with me,South'.
Though jittery and trembling,I jump on the sill,
Fear clutching my throat,like a large stuck pill.

Poised on the edge,ee take a huge leap.
Into space I am flying,I am not asleep.
Twisting and Turning,On a meteoric trail,
Suns,moons,and stars,new world's we hail.

On and on,up and down,over and under,
past comets and asteroids,we smoothly meander.
At last,my eyelids droop and ache
And I plunge into a soft,velvety lake.

When the day breaks, and I rise at dawn
My alien friend by then,has flown and gone.
But I am sure,it was he
As on my pillow I can see,
Glittery sparks of starry dust
To remember him;I know I must.
