So, Peter is hundred years old today! He has achieved what we mere mortals cannot hope to achieve. Very rarely we hear of someone surviving long enough to celebrate 100th birthday.Good luck Peter.
But strangely Peter doesn't look very happy as he sits high surveys his Clan. The past few years saddened and frightened him. He doesn't know what future holds for his Clan! He belongs to the clan of freshwater Turtles ,but the alarming changes in the climate have been belivered him and threats his existance.
Peter and his clan are Peaceable creatures. They hide in their cells or ship quickly into the water at the slightest sound. Though, they are famous for Slowness of their movement on land ,yet in water they move and swim quickly. The tsunamis, the pollutants in the water had deprived Peter and his clan of a safe Habitat. He had survived yet. He had not a peaceful life. He had to be on constant move to overstanger.
