This is because our lives have gotten faster, more organized, and busier. People have come to the decision that their lives no longer allow them to relax and spend some time reading each day. Although our lives have become more hectic, people need to find times that they can set aside for themselves to do self-seeking or just find personal enjoyment.
Books require a large time input, and for that reason, people can become especially attached to the characters inside them. A strong attachment to the character allows the reader to be completely enthralled within the character’s life. This enthrallment is special because it allows the reader to feel as if they are actually living the life of the character, which allows them to experience situations that they would never be able to encounter in the real world.
People often underestimate the power of a big imagination. Exercising our imaginations allows us to envision worlds that no one else can see. Although this may seem like a pointless ability, it can allow us to find happiness by letting us see things exactly the way that we want to see them. Seeing the world in this way gives people that ability to make goals for themselves so that they can create a world for themselves that is as close as possible to the world that they imagined.
