Ants are amazing little creatures. They are always looking for food. What they like most is sugar
When an ant finds food it carries a small bit of it to its nest. As it goes the ant leaves a trail that
other ants can smell. The other ants now begin to follow this trail and find food. When they
return with the food they also leave a trail behind them. Thursday the path from the food to their
nest becomes thorough fare for ants. They can't see but smell for they have feelers in their
noses. The feelings help them to decide if what they touch is good enough to eat Ants are of
many types black brown red big or small. Some like the black ants eat fruit and grass. So we
find them in Gardens trees and farms Some eat the dead bodies of other insects but most
ants like sweet-tasting food
