HERE YOUR ANSWER MATE

Here we have to determine the rational number between root 1 and root 3 .

And that's why we have to determine a number whose square is in between 1 and 3.

We know that 1 squared 1

and 3 squared 9

so the answer would be in between 1and 3 , and the square number of it would be in between 1 and 3

we can try 1.5

because the square of 1.5 is 2.25 .

• So 1.5 is rational as it can be expressed as a fraction of integers where the denominator is not equal to 0.

Hope it helps ☺️✌️
