The Elephant Rope
As a man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, no cages. It was obvious that the elephants could, at anytime, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not. He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away. “Well,” trainer said, “when they are very young and much smaller we use the same size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.” The man was amazed. These animals could at any time break free from their bonds but because they believed they couldn’t, they were stuck right where they were. Like the elephants, how many of us go through life hanging onto a belief that we cannot do something, simply because we failed at it once before? Failure is part of learning; we should never give up the struggle in life.

Hello

Here's your inspirational story......

THE WATER GLASS......

Once upon a time, there was a professor who used to teach the students who were mentally disabled.
He came across several students who were not in a mental Condition to be taught. despite that he worked very hard to teach them. But, all in vain.
Once, he had a student who loved the professor very much and showed his ardent desire to study.
The professor thought that he should agree to the offer given to him to teach the student.

Few months later, that student came to the professors house and rang the bell.
It was 10'0 clock at night. The professor got scared. But when he saw that it was his student be posted the student to enter the house.
The student came to the professor weeping and sobbing.
The professor asked him about the reason. He then answered that he was not able to study properly and was a bit depressed.

The professor gave the student a glass of water which the he drank without any break.
Again, the professor have him another glass to drink.
Similarly, the professor have 10 glasses of water to the student.

Now, the student was not in a condition to drink any more. He then told the professor that it was enough for him, he can not drink any more.
But, the professor insisted him to drink one more glass.
The student followed the instruction and somehow drank the water.

When the professor have him another glass, the student threw away the water glass.
The professor told him that this was what that he should do with all his stress.

He told, " As long as you will insist yourself to keep the stress, the stress will torture you and when the space of stress gets filled up it must be thrown away".

The student understood that the life is complicated and as long as we continue to think that it will appear impossible for us.

The professor again handed the student a glass full of water. The student smiled.
But, this time the professor told him to just hold it upright.
The student holded it.
After 5 minutes the professor asked about his hand's condition. He answered that it was all right.

After 1 hour again the professor asked the same question. But this time he was not able to move his hands because of severe pain.

The professor told him that if he continued to keep the stress in his mind the condition of his body and mind will be similar to that of his hand. And if he simply neglected all this, he will be fine as usual.

This made him understand that one should never think of the problems that one is facing infact one should always think of the future, moreover stress is a part of life which has its entry as well exit. So, one should bother much about it.

Hope this story inspired you....
So, please don't hesitate to throw out your stress and live a enjoyable life.
