lord Curzon wanted to separate the Hindus and the Muslims so they could never unite to fight the British but this idea backfired on them

During the fight of freedom, Bengal was centre of the majority of freedom fighters and Bengal arises a huge sound of freedom.
So ,to break the unity of bengal ,East India company take a decision to do the partition of Bengal.
Officially, they said that bengal is a big state and it is very difficult to control it.
