hello friend their are totally 726 parties in India out of which 80 percent are regional . this is growing day by day because we Indians have a bad habit of casteism this leads to formation of regional parties. most of the indian politics people just interfere their personal matters in politics maybe their vengance and act of revenge towards others.
maybe formation of linguistic states also had a great effect on formation of regional parties but linguistic states were made to reduce intercaste and intertraditional fights that people have in between them because of differing customs and practices but this also resulted in this disadvantage .
