Reason  "why the Venus flytrap eat insects".

Answer:

  • It is an insectivorous plant.
  • They usually occur in damp heaths, bogs, swamps, and muddy or sandy shores where there is abundant water.
  • They lack nitrogenous materials due to the soil conditions.
  • Most of these are green, they manufacture photosynthesis. Poor environmental soil supplements their diet by carnivorous habits.
  • Insectivorous plants are adapted to trap, capture, and digest insects by making traps and clever pitfalls.
  • These traps are mostly the modification of leaf.
