It is prominently for cost reduction, this is prominently well habited by conpanies that are owned by Indian people or being run with key Indians' association. Man power, office infrastructure is relatively less compared to foreign.

More than skilled engineers, we can say them as well interested people to work for higher packages for foreign companies. And even India well adopted technological updates..

When everything is cost effective and fruitful, why anybody chooses India over other locations.

Here your answer friend.
Developing countries are becoming a hub of MNCs because of the reason that these countries are most eager and are underway to develop and want to be on par with the developed countries. Thus these countries ease up their norms and regulation and try to attract these foregin companies to open up their business units in these developing nation's.
Hope this helps you friend
