                                A PINT OF BLOOD WILL DO YOU GOOD !

On 28th of February our school "Kendriya Vidyalaya" organised a blood donation camp in the school auditorium.All the volunteers worked very  wholeheartedly and actively participated in the camp.A group of doctors and nurses came from the city hospital.The Mayor was invited as the Chief Guest of the whole event.He inaugurated the event and gave his precious words of appreciation.He also spread awareness about "Blood Donation" and cheered us.He even told us many facts related to human body and how donating blood is a work of appreciation.He even made us understand that why donating blood is important.Many preparations such as arrangements of beds,equipment etc were done by the volunteers.The whole event took place for about 2 hours.People left the auditorium with a grin on their faces which showed that they felt proud and content after donating blood.
                                   A small skit related to "Blood campaign" was also presented by the students of class 10th.The campaign ended with the certificate distribution by the Principal and Chief Guest to the blood donates.
