Yesterday I visited an orphanage with a friend of mine for a project submission. I entered the place with no desire to connect and just take a look around, ask a few questions from the staff and get whatever i needed for my project.

As i entered the house, I was welcomed by a 3 year old little girl who was dressed in a basic frock and was looking at me with curiosity with her little big googly eyes. "She was dropped in the cot outside just at one month of age" This saddened my heart to an extent i wasn't expecting.  

I looked around and saw children from almost all age groups with a weird sadness in their eyes but a smile on their faces. Upon asking, all of them , in simpler words, unwanted by either their own parents or relatives.

To my surprise, I felt like helping them all in some way because I can't imagine living without my parents like this. Looking at those children made me thank my surroundings even more and pray fro those kids.
