Dimensions of the rectangular field :

Breadth = 10 m = 10×100 = 1000 cm + 44 cm = 1044 cm = 10.44 m

Length= 15m = 15×1000 = 15000 cm + 12 cm = 15012 cm = 150.12 m

Area = Length× Breadth
= 10.44×150.12 = 1,567.2528 m²

The number of bricks required =

√1567.2528 m²

= 40 approx

The number of bricks required is 40 .

Given :

Dimensions of the rectangular field :

Breadth = 10 m = 10×100 = 1000 cm + 44 cm = 1044 cm = 10.44 m

Length= 15m = 15×1000 = 15000 cm + 12 cm = 15012 cm = 150.12 m

To find :

Number of bricks required.
Solution :

Area =

Length× Breadth
= 10.44×150.12
= 1567.2528 m²

The number of bricks required =

√1567.2528 m²

= 40

The number of bricks required is 40 .
